Project Goals
Dispatchers were juggling trip bookings, driver assignments, wait-time fees and facility billing across separate tools, and drivers had no app built for their day. Every late pickup or no-show had a cost, and the paperwork behind each trip (proof of delivery, inspections, documents with expiry dates) was hard to keep complete. The company wanted one system for the office and the road, and a way for staff to ask questions about today's trips without digging through screens.
The Result
We built a web platform for the office and a Flutter app for drivers. The office side has accounts with their own rate cards, patients and vehicles. Dispatchers get a board with a live map, routes and recurring trips. Billing covers invoices, statements and driver settlements, and compliance documents warn before they expire. Every trip moves through a fixed set of statuses with a full history, and edits are protected so two dispatchers can't overwrite each other. Drivers get today's trips and route, pre-trip inspections, geofenced arrival, photo proof of delivery and an offline queue that syncs when signal returns. Staff can also ask an AI assistant about the day. It's built on the Laravel AI SDK and answers through 10 read-only tools over live trip data, so its answers come from what the system holds.
