1. Who We Are
Ailixar builds AI agents and software for businesses. We are based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and we decide how the personal information described here is used. To ask about your information or to use any of your rights, email us at the address shown at the top of this page.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us, including your name, company name, work email, phone number, website, project requirements, budget range, and any other business details you send through our forms, consultations, proposals, or project communication.
If you apply for a role, we collect the details in your application, including your CV or resume and any portfolio or profile links. If you join our newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe using the link in any issue. If you leave a review, we collect your name, role, company, rating, review text and email address. We read every review before it is published and only publish it if you agreed to that when you sent it; your email is used only if we need to check the review with you and is never shown publicly.
If you use the chat assistant on our website, we keep the messages you send and its replies. The conversation is linked to your browser by a random identifier kept in a cookie, set only once you send a message, so you can pick the chat up again if you come back within a short time. It is not linked to your IP address. We note the type of device and browser and the website that referred you, but not your full browser details. The assistant is an AI system: your messages are sent to the AI provider we use to generate replies, which processes them on our behalf. If you ask the assistant to pass your details to our team and agree to it, we save your name, email and request as an enquiry, handled like any other contact request. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
When you send a form, we also record how you first found us, if your browser noted it: the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), the website that referred you, and the first page you visited. Our web servers keep standard logs (IP address, browser and the page requested) for security. If we turn on website analytics, we use a tool that counts visits without cookies and without storing your IP address.
3. How We Use Information, and Why
- Replying to enquiries and preparing proposals, because you asked us to and to take steps before a contract.
- Delivering services, managing contracts and billing, to perform our contract with you and to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Considering job applications, to take steps before a possible contract and in our legitimate interest in hiring well.
- Sending the newsletter, with your consent, which you give by confirming your email and can withdraw at any time.
- Publishing a review, with your consent.
- Running the website assistant, in our legitimate interest in answering visitors' questions; your details become an enquiry only if you agree.
- Keeping the website secure and improving it, in our legitimate interests.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We share information with service providers that run parts of our business for us: website and database hosting (Hostinger), email delivery, the AI model providers behind the website assistant when it is switched on (Anthropic or OpenAI), and, if switched on, privacy-friendly website analytics. They may only process data as needed to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or business transfer.
5. International Transfers
We work from Pakistan, our website is hosted in Malaysia, and the AI providers process data in the United States. These countries may not protect personal information in the same way as your own. Where a provider offers standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards in its data processing terms, we rely on them; otherwise, information is transferred because it is needed to answer your request or perform our contract with you.
6. How Long We Keep Information
- Enquiries sent through the website: deleted two years after they last changed. If you become a client, we keep contract and billing records for as long as tax law requires.
- Job applications, including CVs: deleted one year after they last changed.
- Newsletter: kept until you unsubscribe. Sign-ups that are never confirmed, and addresses that unsubscribe, are deleted after 30 days.
- Reviews: published reviews are kept while they are shown; reviews we decide not to publish are deleted 90 days later.
- Assistant conversations that do not become an enquiry: deleted automatically after the period we set (currently 90 days), which we can shorten.
- Logs: our application's own logs are kept for 14 days; our hosting provider keeps its server access logs under its own policy.
7. Cookies and Similar Storage
The website sets only the cookies it needs to work, and loads no advertising or tracking tags unless you agree to them in the cookie box. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and how to change your choice.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, or destruction. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, to object to certain processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us to use any of these rights. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the authority in your EU country.
10. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may include links to third-party platforms, tools, or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
